Our Story

JP’s Custom Home Painting is a family-owned painting business that has been serving the community for over 65 years. Owner, Jeffrey Poff, is the 3rd generation to be at the helm.

 

I grew up with a paintbrush in my hand. My late grandfather, Carlton Poff, worked for Springfield State Hospital and maintained the painting business on the side. My dad, Barry Poff – a retired Howard County firefighter – continued the business as his second job as well.

 

I graduated from Mount Saint Joseph High School in 2004 and played baseball for the University of the Cumberland’s in Kentucky. I have two daughters – Kyleigh and Joey.

 

We specialize in both interior/exterior, and residential/commercial painting, as well as pressure washing, staining, drywall, and finishing. Our company has also recently expanded to offer complete renovation and insurance restoration services, and our team of experienced professionals is dedicated to providing quality workmanship and customer service.

We take pride in our work and strive to exceed our customers' expectations, and we look forward to ``Painting Your Dreams to Life.``
